10 Things to Know About Dženita Goletić

1. 90% of my photo album is pictures of my two dogs.

Mia, a 14-year-old Yorkie, and Benson, a 3-year-old Aussie, are my world. While Mia is a sassy old lady with a personality too big for her little body, Benson is a fluffy genius with two left feet, so the impossible things they get into require a lot of documentation.

2. I like to spend my weekends reading.

I’m really into fantasy and crime novels. Although I’ll pick up an educational book to expand my knowledge from time to time, nothing beats getting lost in a fictional world with dragons and creatures. If you have any recommendations, send them my way!

3. Millennials are the OG anime fans!

We did a lot of work back in the day to watch anime when streaming sites didn’t exist and the internet was dialed up. I’m glad anime is a lot more accessible now! I enjoy rewatching some of my childhood favorites like Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, and Dragonball Z and catching up on the latest season of JJK.

4. I love to dance.

Music and dancing have always been my outlet. Although I’m not part of a club anymore, my living room and kitchen have become my dance floor.

5. I listen to any kind of music.

My playlists consist of music across different genres and languages. If it’s good, it’s good!

6. I have never broken a bone.

I’ve had my fair share of sprains, but luckily enough, I have never broken anything.

7. I love to get vintage jewelry as a keepsake of my travels.

Any time I travel, I look for a vintage jewelry shop to find rings I can add to my collection. If I’m unable to find a vintage shop, I’ll shop local artists for earrings or rings. It’s a fun way to remember my travels and appreciate the artistry of vintage jewelry.

8. I collect vinyls.

I love collecting vinyls from my favorite artists. My favorite vinyl is a vintage Bijelo Dugme vinyl that my best friend got me in Bosnia for one of my birthdays.

9. I have always loved fashion and wanted a career in fashion!

I grew up watching fashion shows with my mom and found the beauty in self-expression through fashion. I got my degree in fashion marketing and was blessed to work in the industry for 10 years. Although I don’t work in the fashion industry anymore, it’s my goal to find my way back to a role in fashion technology.

10. I’m passionate about mentoring young professionals.

Mentors played a huge part in my career growth and development, so I want to share what I’ve learned with the next generation, helping them reach their goals in any way I can.
