Washington, D.C. 2018

A heartfelt thank-you to all who attended BAPA’s 5th Annual Forum in Washington, D.C. It was an invigorating and inspiring weekend. We are especially grateful to our passionate scholarship recipients Amra, Hanna and Meliha. You are our future leaders! And finally, thank you ACBH and our keynote speaker Ajla Delkic for the call for action on civic engagement. Our program included lightning style sessions, and conclude in the evening with a networking event. We discussed how communities and community involvement affect the world of business and politics.

The 5th Annual Forum was held in Washington, DC on SaturdayOctober 13, 2018 at 1510 H Street, NW, Suite 900, in the offices of the Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 2018 forum program commenced with the presentations of our 2018 scholarship recipients regarding their chosen career paths. We were excited to have Amra, Hanna and Meliha officially become part of BAPA’s growing network. Further, there were a number of networking workshops, presentations, and opportunities to meet fellow attendees, and grow your own network in North America and beyond. Finally our keynote speaker Ajla Delkic, President of the Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina (ACBH), headquartered in Washington, D.C., talked about how communities affect the world of business and politics.
